Azalea Cottage is a one bedroom detached property is set in the mature grounds of Todd Crag House. This cosy and secluded retreat enjoys its own privacy and dedicated private parking. Picturesque Clappersgate is situated on the outskirts and a 15 minute stroll from the  Ambleside village, brimming with mouth-watering restaurants, local shops and country pubs together with the shores of Lake Windermere. 

The imaginative design on 3 levels provides all that you should need. Access is from the private and secluded garden and dedicated parking to the rear of Todd Crag House. Original slate steps lead from the garden into the lounge / dining room. The south facing lounge has an immense amount of natural light. A further door which leads into a second and more private patio with table and chairs. The lounge / diner has full length curtains, sumptuous sofa, an authentic Victorian fire surround and feature electric fire. Digital flat screen TV with Freesat Channels, DVD player are provided. The green slate floor is part covered with  rugs. Beyond the dining area the oak and stone steps lead to the mezzanine kitchen, again with green slate floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker and hob, washer/drier, dish washer, fridge/freezer and a multitude of other gadgets. (Another digital flat screen TV is provided.) This is an extremely light room is large enough to accommodate a bistro table and two chairs. The bedroom is on the upper floor with king sized bed, fitted wardrobe, roof light and double glazed west facing window is extremely light and comfortable. A digital flat screen TV faces the bed. Fitted wardrobe and dresser are provided. The spacious en-suite fully tiled bathroom (with powerful shower over) leads off the bedroom at the top of the stairs. The property is fully double glazed and has full gas central heating. Constant hot water is available at all times.
